Crockpot Barbecue Ribs

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of your favorite Barbecue Sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, freshly minced
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 4 to 5 pounds baby back ribs

Instructions:

FIRST STEP:

  1. In a ziplock bag, pour in the barbecue sauce.
  2. Add the brown sugar, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and cayenne pepper (if using).

SECOND STEP:

  1. Seal the bag and knead it with your hands to mix the sauce ingredients well.
  2. Open the bag and place the ribs inside.

THIRD STEP:

  1. Close the bag and shake it to ensure the ribs are completely coated with the sauce.
  2. Spray the inside of the crockpot with cooking spray.

FOURTH STEP:

  1. Open the bag and place the ribs into the crockpot.
  2. Pour about ¾ of the sauce from the bag over the ribs, making sure they are well covered with the sauce.

FIFTH STEP:

  1. Cook on high for 4 to 5 hours if you prefer fall-off-the-bone tenderness. Alternatively, cook on low for 9 hours for a similar result.
  2. For meat that is super soft but still clinging to the bone, cook on low for 7 hours.

SIXTH STEP:

  1. Keep some of the barbecue sauce aside for serving. This allows each person to add more sauce to their ribs if desired.
